Great place to buy seafood. They have a big selection of fresh on ice seafood. I recommend you to walk around first before you get a ticket to buy something. Stuff is friendly and helpful. After you bought something they can cook it for you for several extra $. We steamed ours to take home. For how spicy we said medium and it was a little to much. But since we steamed crab quarters and shrimps it was not too bad after we get the meat out. We got here around 3 pm which was a good time. Definitely recommend.

What a great place! They've got such an awesome seafood market with stuff from all over the gulf in the Atlantic and even from other oceans. They have a great little market also with baked goods as well as spices and even hats and shirts.

I’m a local and this was my first time here, and honestly I don’t know why I haven’t stopped by sooner. The selection of fresh fish here is easily the best out of any place around. It definitely beats getting seafood from Walmart, Sam’s Club, Publix, you name it. The vibe at Joe Patti’s is way more than just a seafood market. They really do everything here. There’s a sushi bar, deli, cold and hot sandwiches, soups, gelato, ice cream, desserts, wine, alcohol, cigars, fresh steamed seafood, fried fish baskets, fish sandwiches… it just keeps going. They even have merch like shirts and their own bottled sauces for sale. There’s also a food truck outside called the Patti Wagon. I checked it out and got the mixed fried seafood basket and gumbo. It wasn’t my favorite, but honestly it could’ve just been an off day. Everyone I interacted with was great. Big shoutout to Chris, Linda (mightve been Lisa), Tiffany, the wine manager, and the sweet lady up front who walked me through all the different fish. They were all super helpful and made the experience even better. Definitely coming back.

Not only is the place iconic, but they seem to do lots of things really well. From incredibly well prepared soups, to the clean fresh smelling seafood. The place always seems immaculate. All kinds of goodies to take home to help you with your meal like a seasonings and fry coatings, crab boil and smoked fish dips, seafood and potato salads and an array of desserts. It's just one of those places you have to see. We've been eating on the gumbo for 2 days and still loving every bite. Brought back a hole cooler of fish and can't wait to start getting after it. We live in Orlando and have plenty of fish markets but still elected to bring back a cooler full of four different fish plus shrimp. A++++
